Hello Everyone, This is group D , We have created this blog For our computer & language course. ( Supervised by Dr : Faizah Alanazi ) to help you achieve the next level, improve your skill.
Good job group D. We agreed that English reading stories is very helpful for young people and adults as well. It has a large number of vocabulary that is useful for everyday usage however, it doesn’t contains academic vocabulary so it’s more appropriate for kids. Moreover, Z library helped most of us with their language learning, it is easy to access and it had helped us whenever we want to read English stories to help us improve our reading skills. ReplyDeleteHellotalk is a good application to improve the English learners or Second language learners/acquiring, but actually they didn’t describe it well. there are many skills and activities they didn’t mention it. briefly, it is similar to Twitter app it’s a let people to follow you and you follow the people and publish many things such as photos, comments, and likes and so on it’s also, modify or translate people to your post if it’s contain any spelling mistakes and other features. and also including many activities as a games and flashcards . finally, it’s provides means of Communication such as messaging, video call, and calling as a WhatsApp so it’s easy to use and easy to learn

ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent job you did it was very helpful and simple we learned new websites like typing.com and hellotalk . We always believe that printed books are better and safer to read, but technology makes reading more convenient and affordable, though we don't deny that it takes time by searching for a specific book and download it. Apps Grammarly and Typing com are very useful to learn especially, more than the HelloTalk app. HelloTalk application is very useful in this application you can communicate with the outside world but it’s problem is the Wi-Fi service, it needs a good one. In speaking skills we find that discord is helpful because you can practice and later you will become fluent in speaking, but discord has some problems one of them is requires more experienced users, we think it’s hard for beginners.
Hello Group D, this is group B.
ReplyDeleteWe really liked how your main focus was on improving the four main skills of language learning. However, in one of your posts, improving Vocabulary skills, you have mentioned the app Doulingo. Doulingo is a great app for language learners, but as with every application there are a few cons and pros of using any app. First, while Duolingo can help learners memorize and learn new words, it can become quite repetitive after a while which may lead to the learner feeling bored and not motivated to continue learning or following their goal. On one hand, the content of Duolingo is great for beginners. It helps achieve the learning goals. On the other hand, the feedback is limited and not effective, because the feedback is given through a machine. For example, if you chose a wrong answer in a multiple choice question. The feedback would only tell you the correct answer. This might cause the learner some difficulties such as misunderstanding, confusion and frustration due to its lack of clarity. Furthermore, we agree that Duolingo is suitable for all ages, because Duolingo is user-friendly and can be easily accessed and navigated. Another thing we like about Duolingo is how learners can start their language journeys as beginners or they can test their level of a certain language and based on the result they can start their language learning journey. This is a great feature of Duolingo, because it can help them customize or adjust their learning experience based on their personal knowledge or even skills. The last thing we like about the application is that it allows its users to freely share their progress and share their experiences with other users.
Great Job group D.😊
Hello group D🖐🏻💕
ReplyDeletethis is group A. We would like to thank you for this amazing blog, we really enjoyed reading it. But we have some comments about certain applications. First, we agree that Grammarly has a lot of benefits like, shows misspelled words and offers alternatives also there is Excellent spell check tool. But, there are some cons for this app like, Some grammar related suggestions are really not relevant, Sometimes it does not remove the marked error even when you have corrected it and Grammarly's free version has limited basic features. Second, In Duolingo you may not get sufficient exercise of conversational skills, and the app do not have provided the tips and notes section about your progress. Lastly, one of us had tried hellotalk app and from her own experience she said, hellotalk is a good app to communicate with a lot of people from different countries and different norms. Yet is hard to find a native speaker from the language that you want to improve, and it doesn't consider a reliable source to learn efficiently. By for many reasons, your partner maybe shaft out from the main purpose of the app and will ask about your sensitive information rather than learning a language. In addition to that, you will go to meet a lot of horrible people that will curse you for no reason at all or Inappropriate allusions during conversations.
Hello group D this group C, this is fabulous work we appreciate your efforts, you are assisted us to learn a new website like Hellotalk. Also, we prefer your ways that explain to us how to improve the main skills of learning the language. However, we agree that the “Memrize” app has many features that aim learners to improve their vocabulary, but you’ll benefit from using additional resources.
ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your great work
Thank you💞
