Duolingo

Duolingo is a well-known application that provides a skill tree with lessons that use listening exercises, flashcards, and multiple-choice questions to help you become familiar with new words, phrases, and sentences. Most questions have a comment thread that allows users to discuss a specific question in detail. The service also has community features that allow you to connect with other people who are learning the same language as you.

Memrise

Memrise is one of the most popular educational applications that assist in memorizing vocabulary as its name indicate that.

Memrise is similar to Duolingo, except that it lets you record a note while learning new words. In addition, it offers lessons similar to Duolingo, introducing new words and phrases with flashcards, listening exercises, and more. However, the app has some unique features: when you have new words, you can write a note (called a "mem") with anything that helps you remember the new word or phrase. These will appear later when you find the word again. It also has a feature called Learn With Locals that combines words with videos of native speakers saying the sentence out loud and demonstrating the sentence.
